Renovation of a flat in the Florissant district of Geneva

The renovation of this flat in a modern heritage building in Geneva with uninterrupted views of the Salève was an ambitious undertaking, carried out in collaboration with a Spanish architectural firm. The project sought to harmonise modern elements with the building's modern, architectural character, while adding contemporary, streamlined touches.
The spaces highlight the unique views over the Geneva landscape and the Salève. The flat has large bay windows, accentuating the connection between inside and outside and allowing occupants to enjoy the changing light and the beauty of the panorama. One of the highlights of this renovation is the choice of materials and finishes. The solid wood flooring provides a natural warmth and authentic texture that contrasts elegantly with more modern elements, such as the lacquered cabinets and sleek kitchen surfaces. The bathroom, meanwhile, has been designed as a space for relaxation, including a sauna cabin in noble wood that invites wellbeing and relaxation
The corridor is adorned with a refined hand-painted mural, providing an artistic and personalised touch that is reminiscent of the care taken with every detail of this project. Finally, black metal structures and open shelving accentuate the contemporary style of the space while adding depth and character.
