BEAUREGARD UNVEILED

Renovation of the facades and roof of a listed building on rue Beauregard in Geneva's Old Town

The restoration of the facades and roof of the listed building on rue Beauregard, in the heart of Geneva's Old Town, embodies a subtle balance between preserving historical heritage and respectful modernisation. The project was carried out with meticulous attention to the original architectural details, guaranteeing the longevity and enhancement of this emblematic building.

The façades, living testimonies to Geneva's history, were carefully cleaned, restored and consolidated to restore them to their former glory while meeting today's durability standards. Each stone and moulding has been treated using techniques that respect old buildings, highlighting the richness of traditional materials.
The roof, a key element of the building's aesthetic and functional character, has been renovated in keeping with the original materials. The historic tiles have been replaced with similar elements, ensuring optimum watertightness and visual harmony with the surrounding architectural fabric. Discreet insulation work has also been incorporated, improving thermal comfort while preserving the authenticity of the structure.

This exemplary renovation not only helps to protect a precious heritage site, but also enhances the cultural identity and appeal of Geneva's old town.
