WHO IS ALBERTINE?
Albertine is a very talented illustrator. She has participated in numerous exhibitions as an artist in Switzerland and abroad.
She has received many awards. She is the first Swiss artist to have obtained the prestigious Golden Apple of Bratislava for Marta and the bicycle.
She received the Youth and Media Award in 2009 for The Rumour of Venice. She is also the winner of the Witches Prize for Birds, published in 2010.
In 2012, the same title was selected as one of the 10 best books of the year by the New York Times Book Review. In 2016, it also received the 1st prize at the Bologna Fair for Mon tout petit.
In 2019, she was part of the team of illustrators for the new feminist satirical monthly magazine siné madame, from its launch.
